Model lifting? Try these proven methods.

Poor bed adhesion is the most common cause of failed prints:

🧼 Bed cleanliness: • Wipe with 91%+ IPA before every print • A single greasy fingerprint can cause first layer failure

🛠 Methods to improve adhesion: • Glue stick (Pritt, Kores) – works great for PLA/PETG • Hairspray – alternative to glue stick • PEI surface – best for PLA, PETG, ABS • Garolite (G10) – for Nylon • Kapton tape – for ABS

🌡 Temperature: • Increase bed temperature by 5–10 °C • Cover the printer (box) to retain heat

🔧 Slicer settings: • Brim – border around model (3–5 mm), easy removal • Raft – base under model for problematic materials • Elephant foot compensation – prevents first layer expansion
